I know it's kinda late, but a mini update is hoped to benefit my beloved readers here.
I want to share with all my friends here about essential products that I apply on my cats daily.
Ada mcm2 produk di Petshop berhampiran anda, ada yang packaging menarik, pelbagai brand dan juga dari segi harga. Kalau ikutkan hati, memang nak try semua, tapi, belum tentu semuanya berkesan. So here are several products that I've been using for quite some time.

Dari kiri : Ubat mata (gentamicin), Ilium Ear Cleaner, Orgaderm Spray, Tear Stain Remover, Nutripet Multi Vitamin.

White bottles are the Orgaderm spray, The Blue bottle is Stain Remover.

Okay mula-mula nak cerita tentang Orgaderm spray ni. Memang ramai yang tak tahu tentang produk ni, dan tak semua Petshop ada menjualnya. Apa fungsi Orgaderm ni?

Mengikut experience saya yang tak seberapa ni, Orgaderm spray ni elok untuk sembuhkan luka-luka kecil, mengurangkan gatal-gatal akibat hama pada kulit haiwan, boleh memperbaiki kulit haiwan peliharaan, mencegah fungus dan paling penting, mempercepatkan pertumbuhan bulu kucing yang diserang fungus sehingga botak.

MY CAT, JOHNNY WAS RECENTLY SHAVED FOR NEW FUR TO GROW. 

ORGADERM PROMOTES HEALTHY FUR AND PREVENTS FUNGUS.

Memang terbukti berkesan, saya sendiri telah menggunakan Orgaderm Spray ni on my cats. Mmg cepat pertumbuhan semula bulu pada bahagian yang gugur. Cara menggunakan senang je, Spray pada pangkal kulit yang dijangkiti dan gosok supaya meresap. Dalam 2 minggu dah boleh lihat kesannya. :)  (a happy customer indeed!)

GOLD MEDAL TEAR STAIN REMOVER

Okay the next product yang saya gunakan adalah Tear Stain Remover. Membela kucing semi-flat nosed atau Flat nosed sememangnya sedikit mencabar. Mata kucing jenis ini selalunya berair dan lama-lama akan meninggalkan kesan kekuningan atau brownish yang tak berapa nak cantik. Sekeliling bahagian mata kucing akan kelihatan comot dan tidak bersinar.

ALICIA
Stain Remover is essential, especially when your cat has a bright coat color.

Dengan Stain Remover ni, senang je nak cuci stain pada mata cats / dogs anda. Just basahkan kapas / tisu dengan sedikit stain remover, dan lapkan mata kucing menghala ke luar supaya kesan kotoran tertanggal dan mengembalikan warna asal bulu pada bahagian tersebut.

Untuk cats yang berwarna gelap, hanya sekali wipe, bahagian tersebut akan kembali bersih and bersinar. But for cats yang berwarna cerah seperti cream or white, gunakan beberapa kali (cthnya 3 hari berturut), dan kesannya akan jelas dilihat, No more brownish spot! 

I have tried it before, and I am still using it until today. Memang senang untuk digunakan dan menjimatkan masa serta tidak menyakitkan haiwan kesayangan anda. 

ILIUM Ear Drops Cleaner.
This will prevent Ear Mites from growing inside the cats' ears.

Above is Ilium Ear Cleaner. Kadang-kadang bila kita membersihkan telinga kucing, kita hanya mencuci cuping telinga sahaja. Bahagian yang lebih dalam hanya dibiarkan berkarat hehe. Sebabnya, sesetengah owners tidak berani untuk membersihkan bahagian dalam telinga, takut-takut akan mencederakan bahagian itu. Jadi, saya gunakan Ilium Ear Drops ni untuk 'mencairkan' wax di dalam telinga kucing saya.

How to apply?

Selalunya saya akan titikkan beberapa drops Ilium ke bahagian dalam telinga kucing, dan saya gosokkan cupingnya dari luar supaya kucing-kucing saya tidak mengeluarkan cecair ini semula.
Selalunya saya buat pada waktu malam, dan pada esok nya saya akan bersihkan telinga kucing dengan kapas.
Mudah, sebab semua wax akan keluar sendiri ke bahagian cuping. Tinggal lap sahaja. :)

MALASEB SHAMPOO

GOOD FOR ANIMALS WITH DERMATITIS (MASALAH KULIT)

Petting cats at home, I encountered with so many valuable experiences. One of them is when my cats were affected with fungus and ringworms. This will cause the shedding of fur, and at the same time will irritate the skin. Bulu kucing menjadi gugur apabila kucing mula menggaru-garu. Mula-mula fikir, ape laaa masalah kucing-kucing ni.

Ada banyak faktor, pemakanan, cuaca, hormon dan lebih-lebih lagi. kalau ada ramai cats di rumah. Memang senang berjangkit kalau salah satu dah dijangkiti hama / fungus / ringworm ni. Tanda-tandanya adalah keguguran bulu yang berlebihan, menggaru sehingga kulit menjadi luka dan berkeruping. 

I went to the vet, and was suggested to shower my cats with this medicated shampoo "MALASEB". Nama syampu ni memang sangatlah tak glamor, botol nya juga kurang menarik, siap tulis "POISON" lagi. But don't underestimate the power of this medicated shampoo. It is able to kill even the smallest germs beneath the skin and promotes new cell's growth.

My Cats are all regularly showered to maintain cleanliness and for better health.

And they just love to play 

How to apply? 

Wet your cat, put small amount of Malaseb (boleh cairkan dengan air) dan lumurkan keseluruh badan kucing. Biarkan 10 - 20 minit supaya shampoo dapat meresap. Kemudian bilas dengan bersih. Sekiranya keadaan kucing terlalu teruk (kurap 50% keatas), mandikan 2 kali seminggu. Insya Allah berkesan. :)

Well, just another experience of mine that I wanna share :)

UBAT MATA (GENTAMICIN)

Okay sebenarnya ada banyak ubat mata yang boleh digunakan ke atas haiwan. Ubat mata manusia pun boleh digunakan pada haiwan. Cuma kat sini, saje nak share ttg Ubat Mata yang saya gunakan. 

Saya gunakan Colircusi Gentadexa (Gentamicin) sebab dalam ubat mata ni, ada terdapat antibiotik yang boleh membunuh kuman. Tidak semua Ubat Mata mengandungi antibiotik, therefore I think, this eye drops is the most suitable for my cats.

Another brand is NeoDeca, but I dont have the picture right now. Maybe I will upload it later.

TROY NUTRIPET MULTIVITAMIN

Ramai yang bertanya tentang Vitamin apa yang saya berikan to my cats. So far, vitamin ni je la yang saya bagi, Troy Nutripet. Bau dia sedap, mcm bau coklat. Terdapat di kebanyak Petshop berhampiran anda. Sekiranya anda konsisten memberikan Vitamin ini pada kucing anda, anda dapat melihat peningkatan berat badan pada your cats. Seriously it works on my cats! try it out :)

Setiap hari I will feed my cats with this, supaya selera makan diorang bertambah dan sihat tubuh badan. Bulu pun kurang gugur dan my cats are always active. Usually, saya akan guna Syringe 3 cc (3ml) untuk suapkan vitamin ni pada my cats. Caranya, pump out 3ml of Troy Nutripet, and masukkan dalam mulut kucing.. They will love the taste :) 

Berkesan sebagai pengganti Scott's Emulsion dan sebagai owners, anda pasti excited nak bagi cats anda Vitamin ni. Your cats will be excited to have their daily Vitamin. It's finger lickin' good!

[MY STORY] --- WHAT & HOW IT INSPIRES ME

This is a story of a young dream... bloomed into reality. This is a story of a Cat Lover.

She fell in love with cats since she was a small.

Whenever she sees a cat, she will try to catch one and play around with it..

Be it at school, at the roads or even at the restaurants where comot cats pitifully search for foods..

She loves cats so much, but at that time her father didn't allow her to keep these cute people. 
Why? Because she only loves to look at the cats, play with them but NOT to feed them or clean their poops and pees. I guess she was just a lazy bum at that time. 


This one time, she found a cat at her school, under the class' cupboard. 4 cute kittens, and she decided to take one home, the orange color. The name was Comel. Knowing that her father won't allow her to keep cats, she hid the poor kitten in her schoolbag! Comel was not the only cat she had, there were Baby (a tortieshell), Neng, Boy, and loaaadddssss more. 
All of the cats were strayed cats where she herself took them home to raise. (but not to clean the poops, again.)

They are not just any other dolls in my room. They are for REAL!

12 years had passed....


She's now all grown up, done with school and just finished her Degree studies. Still in love with cats, she is glad that she now owns more than enough cats for her to play around and to care. After quite a while of not keeping any cats, she adopted her all time favorite hobby again. 


How did that happen? 
About 2 or 3 years ago, she went to a Cat's Show and was impressed by the beautiful cats. 
It was her dream since she was a child to own a fluffy cat. Commonly called as Persian Cats. 
It was a CFA Show, the cats were fantabulous and beyond imagination. Big heads, superfluffy and cobby with punched nose! 
Homigod where in the world do these people get the cats?

"It's not just a hobby. It's a Passion. For Persians."  ~SABRINA~

Since then, she went to every places that sells cats. Petshops, Vets, Breeders and everyday, she browsed the internet for online Cat For Sale. 
Finally, she bought a pair of long haired kittens, and trust me, she was so happy to the max! 
She's grateful that the whole family loves cats too, treating the cats as part of the family. 
Every time they went for balik kampung or Hari raya, the cats will also be brought together.. 

My beloved first pair. Johnny & Jenny. Precious.

Her Passion for Persians grows in time, that she added another pair of Persian Cats into the family. 

Happy, because her family is fine with it. She was quite afraid that her family will complain about the increasing number of cats, but yeah, thank god it didn't happen. 
Plus, they are waaaayyy tooo cuuuutteee! 
The girl that I'm talking about here, is ME, SABRINA.

Ciku, my home-breed kitten born in Dec '09. He's now happy with his new owner, Kak Muhaini.

Some people did ask, "Why didn't you keep and care the strayed cats? Why do you have to spend your money buying the cats while there are other starving cats out there ?"

Well, from my point of view, the answer is simple, it's a Passion for Persians. Let me ask you:

"Why did you buy the imported cars while there are many local made cars available? Why do you wear branded jeans / handbags and spent hundreds to look good for the sake of your girlfriends or boyfriend? Or, why must you change your hand phone so frequently that the poors feel so intimidated by your style? :)"

Easy right? Because it's your Passion. And I will never question you on all those things. 

All cats are meant to be loved. Nothing to show off about, and it's not wrong to have special interest in certain breeds..


I am a cat lover, and that's for sure..or else I wouldn't have gone this far.

It's a sweet success when your cats grow healthily and breed into a family.

There are also people who asked my permission to adopt my cats / kittens. I am not being a stingy when I say "I have NO FREE Adoption Cats Available". There are many of them who text me or mailed me regarding this issue. 
When I was in your shoes, in search of beautiful cats to keep, there were none of them available for FREE adoption. What's more the Persians that I could only bite my fingernails looking at the jaw-dropping price tag. 


The reason why I don't offer free cats to love, is because the expenses of tender-loving-care are seriously challenging. The efforts to maintain them in a good health, the cost for medical check-ups and supplements, they are just like babies. 
And trust me, if you are being a stingy (KEDEKUT) at buying, I can only imagine how stingy you will be towards the cats when they are already in your hands to care. I am sorry but it's just the Truth. 
Keeping cats will cost you not just money, but your time... attention... and Love.. 

My Passion for Persians in REMAJA Magazine. 

May 1st issue.

I am also honored that My Passion For Persians, has attracted people to share their infinite love towards the Felines with me. I couldn't be more happier when this blog was featured in R.E.M.A.J.A Magazine for the May 2010's issue recently. 
It was a sweet memory for my cats, and it definitely is my self satisfaction. At least i know, that I am taking this hobby seriously. 


Caring for cats, whatever breed they are, is a serious task. For beginners, I was at your place where I didn't really know the right way to care for cats. I even fed cow's milk to my Persians, which caused them diarrhea (Cirit birit). And I hope, that through this blog, I will be able to share my experiences and ideas in caring for cats. 

Everyday I Log In to my Facebook, and I have all of these cool friends with the same interest. 

And It's World wide.

I think, in April, my mom came out with the idea of creating a Facebook Account for my Cats. 

And so I did. At first, I thought that it will just be another Feline's Facebook that no one will be interested in at all. 
But I am happy to know that the number is still growing everyday. It is so nice to interact with these people online, and I could see how they are all very proud of their own cats. That, has lead to me, organizing a cat contest entitled "The Most Adorable & Unique Cat Photo Contest". Again, I worried that not many cat lovers will be interested to join, as it is only an Online Contest. I was proved Wrong when the number of cats participating reached more than 200 cats. Overwhelming! 


Again, it was my luck when the contest was kindly Sponsored by PETWHIZZ, an online Petshop that supplies animals' essentials. Thank you everyone, Thank you Petwhizz for making the contest a success.

The love for cats will always stay alive in me. In the future, I hope to own myself a small home-breed Cattery that produces gorgeous kittens. PANIC! KISAH ACHEL & SI KATAK.

Panic! 

My Cat, Castle @ Achel is now under observation. 

Tadi petang, my dad took him out in our garden. Later on, my dad saw Achel with something inside his mouth. And guess what? 

KATAK! 

Baby Achel Endut... Dah la demam.. pegi gigit katak pulak dia.

My dad cakap, katak tu sihat walafiat je.. tapi Achel, mulut dia mcm berbuih2. 

My mom was freaking out, I was in my room catching a nap. Seriously panic got all over. 

And we took Ahmad Achel to the vet nearby. 

Nasib baik klinik tu tak tutup lagi. Kalau tak memang tak tahu la nak buat apa. 

Hantar Hospital Besar je la jawabnya..

kat wad kecemasan. hehehe.

Buckle up boy!

Masuk2 je dalam vet tu, we were welcomed by Dr. Toh, the DVM there. 

The doctor asked me what happened, and I told her, 

"My cat bite a frog!"

And you know what was her reaction? --------->  PANIC LAAA APA LAGI!

Sebab apa panic? Sebab kalau kucing terkna RACUN KATAK, memang TAK ADA anti-dote. Kalau ular, ada Venom nya sendiri.. Tapi untuk Katak, memang tak ada.

So the doc explained to me, the consequences, the symptoms and the things that MIGHT happen. SEMUANYA SCARY. 

1.  Temperature naik mendadak.

2.   Bintik merah will come out at its inner ears.

3.   Nasal congestion. (Rongga pernafasan tersekat, causing problem in breathing)

4.   .....................................

But being a positive, and knowing Achel is a big fatso with big paws, I know he will survive. The doc said that I need to observe him for 1 - 2 days, sebab effect poison (kalau betul2 kena la), mmg lambat sikit untuk dikesan.

Achel at the vet. Ni pengunjung tetap Pet's Clinic ni.. hehe.

The doctor gave my cat a shot of vitamin C and anti-histamine (anti allergy) as precautions. Also ubat Charcoal (Yang warna hitam, selalunya manusia makan ubat tu sebab perut kembung atau cirit birit). 

Oh ye, Achel kena marah dengan doctor tadi...

"Haihhh this cat aa... very naughty! Lepas ni, tak boleh keluar rumah lagi. Biar dia duduk dalam penjara sebab degil...!" 

Kena "pokkkk" sekali dengan Dr. Toh.. hehe padan muka Achel.

"Abang Ipi, balik nanti Achel nak main Game..."

Macamana keadaan Achel sekarang? Tengah tidur.. he seems fine.. 

Makan pun, as usual banyak and berkali-kali. 

Elok la tu.. 

But still. I need to observe him. 

Achel ohhh Achel... banyak lagi toys lain yang kakak beli... banyak lagi makanan sedap2 ada.. yang pegi GIGIT si KATAK tu apa pasal...? 

Sian kat mama tauuu risau kat Achel... (ee manja lebih si gendut ni..nyampah tau).

Hopefully, Achel will be OK. So far he seems fine. Ate a lot. Even menggatal dengan Alicia. 

But if anything else occurs, then it's already been fated...

The First Time My Cat Went Missing! Let's Panic!

Hello everyone. 

Semalam, my cat si Jojo (Johnny) went missing in the evening. He ran away with this female cat which belongs to a neighbor. 

At night, Johnny still didn't come home while my neighbor's cat already back to her house. 


Panic got me all over, I had never let my cats out of my compound without supervision. But yeah, things happened. Cemas seketika. Ok tak, mmg cemas gila. Dia bukan reti cari makan sendiri.

Kecik2 dulu comel and baik.. dah besar degil yeaaaa? 

haaaa lain kali nak lari rumah, salin dulu alamat rumah. 

Kan dah sesat.

My dad drove around the neighborhood, talked to neighbors and asked if they saw my cat with a red collar and   easily noticed bell. I let Jojo wear a striking collar, for he has been a bit unexpected lately (mating season has got him out of control a bit,chasing after females! duuh). I prayed that Johnny will find his way home but it seemed like he forgot his own address. hehehehe.

Several neighbors called and informed me about my cat. And this morning, (Sunday), my parents went out for breakfast and later on searched for Jojo again. A neighbor behind my house, Uncle Harry told me that his dog barked the whole night and saw a cat with Red Collar. Heh sounds like my Jojo!

In the evening, Uncle Harry's wife came to my house to inform that my Jojo was at her house. She didn't capture the cat to bring him back to my house, because she was afraid that Jojo might freaked out and run away. Haha si Jojo memang takut dengan stranger. Good thing. Kakak taught you well kan Jojo? Jangan cakap dengan orang yang tak dikenali.

 A strayed dog that he's been keeping for almost 6 years.

Knowing that my cat was in his lawn, and Luke kept on barking at him (stranger alert!), Uncle Harry and his wife kept their dogs inside their house. So sweet... diorang tak nak si Jojo takut and lari tengok Kucing Besar tuuuu. Thankssss a zillionss neighbor! :) Pandai si Jojo ni pilih nak menyorok kat mana. Nasib baik takde orang culik. 

Uncle Harry and his wife live here for quite awhile. Selalu nampak diorang walked their dogs around the neighborhood. Besar2 anjingnya. But very disciplined. Kalau nak bagi instruction kat dogs ni, kena cakap bahasa Belanda. hehehee. The couple originally came from Netherlands, before they decided to stay here years ago. Very friendly people. :)

I was baking a cake in the kitchen when my mom called me to go and take Jojo home. My my my.. Jojo was soooo kempis habis. Mana taknya, satu hari tak makan. Muka diaa sediiih sangat2. Ini la balasannye kalau degil. 

As soon as I captured him, he held me tightly. Still traumatized. Kat manalaa dia tidur agaknya malam tadi. I took Jojo home, and fed him with his favorite food. Makan tak ingat dunia, sampai 2 bowls habis. Seronok betul dia dapat balik rumah and jumpa kawan2 dia balik.

After I fed Jojo, mom told me that I should thank the neighbor and so, I decided to give them my recently baked cake. Good thing I baked a cake today, at least for a good reason. :). 

I droved to Uncle Harry's house, located behind my house. Kali ni my mom bawa Achel gendut sekali. Sibuk betul nak ikut naik kereta. Sempatla si gendut ni berkenalan dengan Luke. Habis tegak bulu satu badan.

Achel met Luke. Tengok ekor dia. Tegak habis.

As I was about to leave, suddenly Luke got excited and wanted to play with me. 

According to Uncle Harry, Luke is a better "alarm system" to them.

Awhh can we keep one? Maybe that will keep the thieves awaaay from my house. 

sigh.

Uncle Harry said that I must thank Luke, sebab kalau bukan kerana Luke, my Jojo si degil won't be found. 

Before I left, I asked them to save some (the cake) for Luke. I'll see you again Luke. Thanks a lot and I am sure that Jojo will never forget you. hehehehe.
