Sorry sangat-sangat... Kakak Achel sekarang busy dengan kerja.. 

Sebelum ni, after grad memang bersenang-lenang kat rumah boleh main masak-masak dengan kucing, tapi sekarang dah ada komitmen yang lebih mencabar.. 

**kepada yang masih belajar, saya sangat jeles!**

Okay hari ni nak cerita tentang cara nak elak jangkitan / penyebaran virus atau kuman yang boleh membahayakan kucing. Ada tak antara kucing-kucing korang yang kadang-kadang demam, tak sihat atau selsema, kadang-kadang cirit-birit atau paling teruk, terkena jangkitan virus!

Atau kucing anda yang pada asalnya sihat, tapi tiba-tiba sakit dan kemudian mati tanpa diketahui sebabnya. Selain memberikan vaksin mengikut jadual, kebersihan kawasan persekitaran tempat kucing selalu bermain pun sangat penting. Yelaaa diorang ni keluar rumah tak pakai kasut, kaki ade 4 (tak cukup kasut hehehe) so segala kuman yang melekat dibawa sekali.

Saya nak share tips cara membersihkan / menyahkuman (antiseptic) kandang kucing, lantai atau toys kucing kesayangan. Saya menggunakan KENNEL WASH by PETdiatric. Okay ni bukan nak promote semata-mata nak suruh beli ye, tapi memang, it works and sangat praktikal. 

Kepada yang selalu singgah FANPAGE CASTLE & ALICIA, mesti dah tahu yang kucing-kucing di rumah saya semuanya menggunakan syampu Oxyzen Therapy Conditioning Shampoo by PETdiatric, tap kali ni nak cerita pasal Kennel Wash. Tak ramai yang tahu tentang kegunaan Kennel Wash, mungkin ramai yang ingat Kennel Wash ni cuma syampu sahaja.

Kennel Wash ini merupakan cecair pelbagai guna (multifunctions). Selalunya saya gunakan Kennel Wash ini untuk membersihkan kandang kucing atau lantai pondok kucing di rumah kami. Selain itu, Kennel Wash ni juga saya gunakan untuk membasuh Litter Pan (Bekas Pasir) sebab for sure banyak kuman kat situ. So apa yang saya buat, selalunya saya kosongkan litter pan tu, kemudian saya isikan sedikit air dalam litter pan dan campurkan sedikit cecair Kennel Wash tadi. Biarkan selama 10-20 minit kemudian saya buangkan airnya dan saya tak bilas. Baru laaa saya letakkan semula pasir yang baru.. 

When your cats are healthy and clean, then you'll be happy tooo! 

Untuk kandang kucing pula, apa yang saya buat selalunya saya akan ambil satu botol spray kosong (gunakan je botol febreze yang kosong atau beli di kedai, botol tu basuh bersih-bersih kemudian saya akan masukkan 3 pam (3 pumps) cecair Kennel Wash tu ke dalam botol. Kemudian, penuhkan botol tu dengan air paip, goncang sampai sebati (alaaa mcm bancuh air sirap atau juice biase jeee)

Usage :
Pump out 3 times (kennel wash) into an empty bottle and fill the bottle with water till full. Use it as spray.

Apa yang saya buat adalah, saya akan spray kandang kucing tu secara menyeluruh, spray dinding atau lantai kandang (macam spray air time iron baju okayyy). Tak perlu bilas dan tak perlu risau kot-kot kucing terjilat ke... sebab Kennel Wash ni 100% Organic daripada Pine Oil.. Selain spray pada kandang, selalunya saya akan spray mangkuk makanan kucing dan bekas minuman, kemudian saya basuh bersih-bersih..
Ini sebagai langkah untuk disinfect (nyahkuman) yang ada pada bekas makanan dan minuman kucing..

Kakak Achel paling suka spray cecair Kennel Wash ni.. kadang2 kalau boring, I will just go out, take that spray and spray je tempat kucing selalu main... As a result, tempat diorang main jadi wangi and I feel confident yang tempat diorg tu dah mati kuman-kuman yang tak patut ada walaupun saya tak basuh atau tak berus / mop tempat tu.. Ye laaa kadang-kadang kan tak ada masa nak basuh cage kucing... So paling senang, spray je.. kalau nak lagi bersih, lepas spray, lap dengan kain jeee kandang tu (bahagian besi atau tiles), that's what I do.. 

Ohh, lupa nak bagitau. Satu lagi kegunaan Kennel Wash adalah untuk memandikan kucing / anjing yang mempunyai masalah kulit. Kalau kucing anda tu ade kurap atau fungus, gatal-gatal atau apa-apa masalah kulit, mandikan je dengan kennel wash ni. 

I use Kennel Wash to ensure the cleanliness of my cats' playing area and to disinfect.

Ada yang tanya :

"BOLEH KEEE MANDIKAN KENNEL WASH TU KAT KUCING KAKAK ACHEL OII?"

Yeee boleh... Tak beracun pun... Tak menghakis pun... yelaaa mesti ada yang risau, cecair yang digunakan untuk cuci kandang hang pi bagi mandi kucing pulak dahhh kan mengarut ke apaa kakak achel ni? 

Tapi memang boleh. Kennel Wash ini merupakan ceciar disinfectant; cecair untuk mematikan kuman atau segala bakteria. Kucing yang ada masalah kulit, itu disebabkan kuman dan bateria laah kan? So apa yang Kennel Wash ni akan buat adalah mematikan kuman yang ada pada permukaan kulit. So just bayangkan, awak mandikan kucing yang ada masalah kulit tu dengan Kennel Wash, pastu bila kuman tu terkena Kennel Wash tu, semua akan mati dan kulit jadi bersih. No worries, Kennel Wash tak ada chemicals yang bahaya atau beracun. (Tapi jgn la pi bagi minum kat kucing plak kannn)

Kesimpulannya, Kennel Wash is my choice to keep my cats' playing area clean and disinfected, free from bacterias dan membuatkan kakak achel senang hati..tak payah risau lagi pasal rumah kucing yang kotor dan boleh menyebabkan kucing-kucing di ruma kami dijangkiti penyakit pelik-pelik...

A day with PETdiatric!

Semua dah tak sabar nak mandi since everyone's armpit is kinda hairy and smelly!

Begin with the lil kittens, easier to wash and dry :)

1) PETdiatric OXYZEN CONDITIONING SHAMPOO

So I washed my cats with OXYZEN Conditioning Shampoo.

It is 100% Certified as HALAL. 

What I did was, washed my cat with water, then I used 2-3 pumps for each kitten. 

I left it for 2-3 minutes and then I rinsed them off. 

MY REVIEW:
After using the shampoo, the fur became so soft and fluffy.
The shampoo made my cats smell like Johnson's Baby Shampoo (love!)
Easier to comb and prevent tangled hair from occur.

Suitable for weekly bath, and your Cats will simply Love it!

--HAI KAWAN-KAWAN...ACHEL DAH MANDI...--

My advice is, if you go to a Petshop, 

Do not just go and buy some random shampoo for your cats..

Sometimes, syampu yang kita gunakan tidak sesuai untuk kucing..

 Bulu semakin gugur dengan banyak akibat pH yang tidak sesuai, atau kadang2 kita beli syampu berdasarkan harga.. Kalau boleh, nak yang paaaling murah untuk kucing...tapi akibatnya, ada yang sampai kulit kucing jadi merah dan menngelupas..

Pilihlah syampu yang bersesuaian. 

Saya tak kata syampu yang murah tu tak bagus, tapi kalau once dah guna, and keadaan semakin teruk, 

just stop torturing your cat with it..

You might end up spending a lot more at the Vet just to fix your Cat..

2) PETdiatric KENNEL WASH BLACK SERIES

ABOUT KENNEL WASH

Kennel Wash acts as DISINFECTANT and also as a TREATMENT SHAMPOO.

Di rumah, mesti ada kandang kucing, litterbox dan mcm2 toys untuk kucing anda..

Sometimes we do not realize that they are dirty and require thorough cleaning.

So, Kennel Wash ni boleh digunakan untuk membasuh kandang, membersihkan litterbox atau lantai tempat kucing anda selalu bermain atau melepak sambil membasmi kuman :)

HOW?

1. Campurkan 3 pumps of Kennel Wash dengan setengah baldi air, use a towel and wipe the cages kennel, floor, toys or any affected surfaces. Throw away any remaining liquid.
2. Boleh juga dibancuh dan letak dalam botol sprayer (mcm spray pewangi Febreze tuu).Add 3 pumps of Kennel Wash dan penuhkan botol sprayer tu. Kemudian, spray mana2 tempat yang kotor, berbau atau mana-mana kawasan untuk anda basmi kuman. No need to rinse.

YOUR CAT FACES SKIN PROBLEMS?

Wet your cat with only Kennel Wash liquid, then rinse it off..

Kennel Wash also acts as a treatment bath for cats with skin problems.

Kennel Wash's main ingredient is the All Natural Oil Pine,

so you can use it without worrying about any harmful chemical..

3) PETdiatric PETSAFE 
(DRY SHAMPOO AND STAIN CLEANER)

That is the PETSAFE!

WHAT IS PETSAFE?

Petsafe is like a "Dry Shampoo for your Pets!"

Kadang2, lepas mandikan kucing, beberapa hari kemudiannya kucing tu mesti akan keluarkan bau yang tak berapa nak wangi... 

So, PETSAFE is the answer!

HOW?

Just shake well the bottle, then spray pada badan kucing...

Rub its body until PETSAFE is absorbed. 

(Note : Petsafe is non-sticky / tidak melekit)

Tadaaaa! Kucing anda akan jadi bersih dan wangi, seperti baru dimandikan..

Boleh juga spraykan pada tapak kaki (PAWS) kucing anda, so tapak kaki diorang sentiasa bersih..

(kucing kan pergi tandas tak pakai kasut... hehehehe!)

OTHER USES:

1. As stain remover around the eyes. Just spray at a cotton pad and wipe the dirts off in circular motion.
2. Ear Cleaner : Same method as above, and wipe the inner ear carefully to remove the ear wax.
3. Clean the Anus area. Sometimes we notice that there are dirts near the anus area, so just spray at that area and wipe the dirts off using tissue / cotton pad.

Setelah kena rotan dengan Kakak, akhirnya Oki meminta maaf dan pergi merajuk 2 minit..

Updatesssss ladies and gentlemen! how are we today...?? 

Hope everyone is as healthy and happy with your beloved little furry friends, the cats... hamsters..dogs.. etc.

THE MOST ADORABLE & UNIQUE CAT PHOTO CONTEST is already over, about 2 weeks already. I know, all the owners are excited waiting for the result (I hope so!) but forgive me for the late update, I have several things that require my attention lately.

I have some good news too! PETWHIZZ is officially part of the sponsors for the contest. I am not gonna tell what the prizes are, but I must say that the items are all for your cats only. 

PetWhizz and I have finally came to an agreement, and the prizes will be posted to me to be delivered to the rightful winners.

My Cats' Bathing Day (Hari Memandikan Kucing) & Tips to Care

Sorry for the late update...Been busy with school and papers.
SO! All cats and kittens are having a merry Gong Xi Fa Chai Today...

Selamat Tahun Baru Cina ... wow, this year is the Tiger's year. Rawwwrrrr~~

Ok cut the crap. Next.

"Kakak!! Nak mandi swimming pool!"

Yesterday, (saturday), as usual, the weekly routine which is to give the cats a bath took place. Semua kucing-kucing excited nak mandi..Panas katanya. Si Alicia dah complain, lama tak syampu rambut katanya. Si Johnny pulak, suruh basuh buntut...

"Kakak, lepas ni kita pegi facial and manicure okay..?"

Castle pulak teringin nak berendam dalam bath tub.. Macamana tu? Masing-masing bukan main seronok main air.. Lagi-lagi Si Gendut Castle, boleh plak tertidur time tgh syampu and rub bulu dia. Hehehee....

"Thirsty....letak ais boleh tak kakak?"

Selesai je mandi, masing-masing basah kuyup and mengecut. They don't look fluffy anymore. All flattened. So I put them to dry with a towel and let them be in a cage for a while under the sun for about 15 minutes. This can be very helpful to let them absorb the Vitamin E directly from the mother nature and also to kill germs.

They were enjoying the sun, basking like Crocodiles. I took the Babyblue in first, as he is still a small so I dont want her to be dried up totally. Nanti jadi kucing kering plak. hehe

My Castle is sleeping with Ashley...Peluk adik tau!

After that, I let them in. Semua rasa segar bugar. Lepas tu masing-masing buat muka lapar kebulur sedangkan sebelum mandi tadi dah makan. I fed them, and soon after, masing-masing terkangkang kenyang.
I caught Achel was sleeping at the hall with the aircond turned on just for him. Mengada-ngada kan? Dia tidur dengan si Babyblue Ashley. Siap peluk-peluk lagi...comellll sangat! :)

"Bestnyaaa perut Abang Achel. Macam belon!"

Later on, I did some grooming also. Dried their fur...Sikat bulu diorang...And gave them Vitamins and Cut the fingernails. Kucing-kucing anda bagaimana? Sesetengah kucing, dengar bunyi air je, dah keluar semua kuku and bersedia nak lari...Tips nye, kalau nak mandikan jugak, kurung dia dalam sangkar kecil, kemudian basahkan dengan paip air dari luar sangkar tu...kemudian, sabunkan...Takde la dapat "saguhati" berbentuk cakar dan luka.... :)  Jangan lupa letak ubat kutu sekali.

Di atas adalah foods and ubat, Vitamins dan antifungal spray. Mula-mula masa bela, memang malas nak ambil kisah benda ni semua. Tapi sebenarnya, Very Important... Look at the food pack above, currently I;m feeding them with Royal Canin Sensible 33. Kenapa? Sebab baru-baru ini, kucing-kucing saya terkena cirit birit...

Sensible ni bagus untuk rawat inner environment dan juga untuk menggemukkan seekor kucing. Tapi harga nya adalah slightly more expensive daripada Royal Canin yang lain.

Look at the pic above. These are the supplements I give to my cats and kittens. Paling kiri sekali adalah Nutripet from Troy. Vitamin ni is highly recommended. Kucing-kucing sangat suka..letak je kat jari, dia akan datang and jilat sampai licin... The rest of the bottles are also Vitamins...B-complex and multivitamins. These will help your cat to increase their appetites and also to ensure their good health and cantik jee bila kita tengok...Gebu dan bulu tak mudah gugur.

Treat your cats as part of your ownself.

Ini pula adalah ubat telinga. ILIUM EAR DROPS. I suggest you people who own cats to buy this. If you people notice, dekat dalam telinga cats tu ada wax. Yang bahagian yang lebih dalam tu, mesti ada yang tertanya-tanya,

"How to clean this? alahhh cuci yang belah luar je laaaa"

Betul tak? salah tu...Kalau dibiarkan, kutu telinga akan membiak dalam telinga kucing-kucing ni... Ilium Ear drops ni sangat senang nak guna. Titikkan few drops dalam telinga kucing dan rub the ears supaya tak mengalir keluar. Semua wax tu akan cair dan keluar dari dalam telinga kucing-kucing ni. Senang.Tak payah pegi vet semata-mata nak cuci telinga cats. Harga tak ingat, tapi dalam rm 20++ mcmtu...

Orgaderm Spray. Highly Effective.

Apa pula laaa botol kat atas ini? Macam-macam laaa Cik Sabrina ni... Membazir je. hehehe tak laaa.. Ok di atas ni adalah ORGADERM SPRAY. Sangat effective untuk rawat masalah skin disorder pada haiwan. Lagi-lagi kucing atau anjing.

Contohnya, kalau kucing tu ada luka, atau kurap, atau bulu gugur akibat fungus, spray sahaja tempat yang bermasalah dan gosok sampai meresap. Dalam seminggu, you can see the effective result. Seriously recommended. Harga dalam RM 35. Tak payah susah-susah nak beli ubat krim untuk rawat kulit kucing bermasalah, nanti kalau-kalau dia jilat and tertelan, haaa tau-tau je la apa yang jadi seterusnya.

Syringe & Nail Clipper

The above picture is a syringe and also a fingernail cutter for cats. cute kan? Pink lagi... The syringe is important, untuk bagi kucing makan ubat atau air... senang, tak tumpah. And the fingernail cutter is an essential too. Jangan sesekali guna pengetip kuku manusia untuk potong kuku kucing...Nanti menjerit laaa budak-budak tu...

Hari ni, (Ahad), the whole family is going back to our house in Taiping.. So I need to pack and get ready with the cats too! Semua kena ikut... sebab nanti diorang takut duduk rumah sorang-sorang... hehehe
